At first glimpse, one thing stands out about the AlienwareM18x: Its bigger size; it’s really big one. At a slightly over 17 inches by 12 inches, this will have a colossal desktop framework with the weight of approximately 13 pounds without the bulky AC adapters. Don’t consider it much easier to choose up and haul around with you, from this room to that room and here to there.

One thing which cannot be concealed is its back of lid, and we can say it’s the most eye-filling area of M18x. However, right in the middle, we can find a planted ever-green shining head logo. It assures you the brand of Alienware, but with the passage of time you might need to have more upscale-looking modifications, if you did not change it for several years.

Keyboard of M18x has a set of five macro keys moving down the left along with full number pad on the right side. You can switch between three different modes with the help of a button at the top of the columns. Hence, you can be benefited by 15 macros per game. Keys of this laptop are quite large and easy to use; your fingers will have enough space on the keypad to rest and you will not notice any flex on the laptop that costs you like this.

Display Alienware M18x

An envision scene can be enjoyed in form of massive 18.4-inch 1920 x 1080-pixlels WLED display on the M18x. Display panel is fully covered with glass from end-to-end. Display simply popped off by video films and games as it is quite large that it pushes us in the action. While watching DVD of Iron man, the red and gold of Tony Stark’s costume start shining and explosions in the video tremendously blazing. Same is the case for games; from disintegrating bunch details to flowing snowflakes present perfectly.

Performance

In the efficiency assessments, the Alienware M18x is unsurprisingly a remarkable chunk of hardware. Basically, it is only for games just like Origin EON17-S, which had an over-clocked model of the same CPU.

For past two years we have gone through Alienware’s so many features, and one of the greatest things in Alienware is the backlighting function. Features like logo, keyboard and front grille can be changed easily. Even you can change the ring tones around the keypad according to your wish and preferences, which bears touch system according to your taste and mood. It will be great fun to modify and change the control system of this machine; you can spend your enough time playing with different color schemes of M18x. It’s just awesome in all ways and you will find it more enjoyable than its cost.
